After watching hours of hero dog Thunderbolt on TV, pup Lucky is inspired to become a hero and protector of all canines! Lucky, alongside his reluctant brother, Rolly, and his proper sister, Penny, visit the home of Colonel, an old sheepdog, and his partner Sergeant Tibbs, a house cat, to learn about puppy peace and how to become a hero. During their training, they find stray kittens needing a home and rid the vegetable garden of thieving rabbits. Through these adventures, they learn the importance of family, humility, and selflessness.
